FAA & Aerospace Inspection
Intermountain Testing Company offers nondestructive testing and inspection services to aviation and aerospace clients. Proper NDT inspections are critical to the design, manufacture, maintenance, and safety of aircraft. Technicians will use NDT methods throughout an aircraft’s lifecycle to assess its health, routinely inspecting parts, structures, and engines. Aircraft undergo massive fatigue stresses due to the forces acting on them while in flight. Finding and resolving issues is, therefore, fundamental to safe and routine operation. ITC utilizes some of the latest inspection technologies to provide our customers with options that reduce inspection labor costs. Aircraft components that we regularly inspect include but are not limited to the following: engine blades, landing gears, welds, fitting bolts, fuselages, rivets, wings, and adhesive bonds.
ITC travels nationally and internationally to inspect your aircraft, using an array of NDT methods to support maintenance and repair efforts. ITC is prepared to fly or drive to your location to perform any and all of the NDT methods. Our mobile radiography labs enable us to perform radiographic testing, film process, and detailed interpretation on-site. We are able to support private aircraft owners, small aviation businesses, corporate jets, military, and major commuter airline companies. Our professional technicians are highly trained and certified to deliver excellent service and accurate interpretations. We arrive on time and prepared with the right equipment, the right standards, and everything needed to get the job done. You will have real-time results and reports in a timely manner.
